As local citizens, our governing board members have a responsibility to the students and the community at-large for providing a high quality choice in education for all youth who are unable to participate in the traditional school model.

Each member of our independently governed, non-profit charter school governing board contributes a depth of experience in areas such as education, business, finance, and community development. Each member is especially passionate about improving the lives of young people and helping establish them as confident, educated, skillful, and civic-minded citizens of their community.

Board Meetings

Charles Sant’Agata

On behalf of the Office of School Governance, it is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Board member Charles Sant’Agata on February 16, 2022. Charles was a longtime advocate of Learn4Life and Board member since 2017. In addition to starting his own public relations firm, Charles devoted his time and PR skills to many organizations he held close to his heart, including the American Lung Association of California, Society of Professional Journalists, Fresno Civic Center and Greater Optimist Clubs, Fresno Chamber of Commerce, Operation Clean Air and Sons of Italy Hanford Lodge.

Charles’ service as a Board member was instrumental in the growth and stability of the charters he served and the continued success of Learn4Life. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. We are grateful for Charles’ service.
